Da Filippos restaurant is a true authentic Italian restaurant. Chef/owner Filippo Russo continuously updates his specials and menu reflecting only indigenous dishes from the 20 regions of Italy particularly, Sicily, Lazio, and Piedmont. Chef Filippo Russo prides himself by only using the freshest fish, meats, poultry, and ingredients. Because the food is not prepared in advance and is cooked to order the patron is advised that several minutes more are required to savor this excellent cuisine.
Filippo Russo also offers cooking classes, which provide for a very edifying experience in authentic Italian cuisine several times per year. These functions require advanced reservations.
The restaurant is BYO and reservations are highly recommended Monday through Thursdays and required Fridays and Saturdays. Sundays are reserved for private parties only. Live entertainment is provided Friday and Saturday evenings.
