Come celebrate St. Patrick's Day in Downtown Somerville!
Join us for the 19th annual St. Patrick's Day Parade hosted by the Ancient Order of the Hibernians, St. Patrick's Division 1, Somerset County.
The Parade will have over 75 marching units and is expected to draw over 15,000 people, making the Somerville St. Patrick’s Day Parade, one of New Jersey’s largest.
For 2010, the Grand Marshall of the parade is Mary Kelly and the Hibernian of the Year is Patrick Mannion.
***********Parking Update**************
Due to demolition work, visitor parking for the parade will not be available at the former Pathmark Shopping Center.
Parking will be available in the parking deck located between East Main Street, Warren Street and Veterans Memorial Drive. Signs will direct visitors to the free parking in the lot.
All other visitor parking lots will be open and, as always, are free on Sundays. On-street parking is also free and permitted on streets surrounding the Downtown Business District.

The Parade will begin at the corner of Main and Grove Streets in Downtown Somerville and will proceed west to West End Avenue near Immaculate Conception Church. A pre-parade show at 12:30 P.M. will feature Irish Dancing exhibitions, and will be located in front of the Review Stand at the corner of Main Street and Doughty Avenue.
